Sakura awoke abruptly on a bench whilst sweating profusely. She blinked her eyes several times to clear of the blur forming in her vision. She immediately sat up to notify Karin that she was indeed okay. She took a glance at her surroundings and noticed that they were in the girls’ locker room. “What the heck was that?” She thought to herself. She mentally slapped her forehead for she began to feel that once again she was a bother. “I just had to ruin things by fainting didn’t I?” She whirled her head to face Karin and winced at the sudden movement. “Sorry about that Karin,” she apologized meekly. She couldn’t help but feel guilty for ruining the day. She clutched the towel to her chest as she stared at her feet. “Thank you,” she mumbled.
Karin watched her companion wearily, on the stand-by in case the girl needed help. She shrugged a bit at her comments about ruining their day. “You didn’t really ruin anything, you just about gave me a heart attack, is all… and it’s no problem, I hope you’d do the same for me if I suddenly passed out in a pool of hot water.” She gave the girl a small smile before glancing towards the exit. “I may or may not have sent someone to get a proper medical professional for you… so you may or may not be subjugated to a bunch of medical questions and bothers…”
“Of course I’d do the same! That’s what friends are for, ne?” Sakura beamed as she struggled to stand up. She winced as she felt a brief wave of nausea but brushed it off and turned to face Karin. “I guess we’ll have to leave before they arrive,” she mused. Truthfully, Sakura didn’t feel like dealing with a maelstrom of questions or medical help for that matter. She glanced at the clock and noticed that it wasn’t too late for them to do something that was deemed as enjoyable. “So, Karin, are you up for some late night shopping?” She grinned.
